The Paintbrush.
When I see a large street mural I immediately look for possible micro photos. Selective isolation can produce some quite pleasing results.

I strive to elevate the obscure to pleasing eye candy in a photo frame. Artists work hard to fill their often expansive spaces. Some of their fillers rock as the stars when given their own frames.

This shot came from a great urban mural. When I first saw it I was immediately drawn to the paintbrush, a tiny portion of the whole. I view most art as a mosaic which enhances the possibility of my producing micro photos. I love to turn a visual extra in to a star.
